It's actually kind of crazy if you think about it. Back in 2020 - 2022 we thought Commanders are truly strong but now it turns out Oda already abandoned them when their role was over and now dozens of characters look straight up more impressive than them.

Wouldn't have much sense giving the order when everything still had to happen and he didn't know what will be of GV.
Maybe they'll win, so why destroy an Island in which they had won?

Also, It would be again the wrong hint from Redon. That Pic was user right before Lulusia was destroyed, not when they have the order.

Completely agree man plus I loved the sort of "strategy" to fights pre TS and there's moments of that still like vs Doflamingo with Law and Luffy but still.

Pre TS was so fucking imaginative and creative both with DFs and also other fighting styles, random ass, inventive, experimental stuff.

Now its almost pure haki fetishism. We Bleach/late game Naruto/DBZ onwards/Star Wars etc now.

Humility and simplicity are so underrated.
