Kaido snatched the fruit from Big Mom? What about her giving him the fruit beforehand and it being part of his debt to her? Wtf Oda? Unless the debt is because he stole it and denied Katakuri having the fruit instead? What happened to their brother-sisterly bond? She said she was gonna take care of him if he joined Rocks. So, Imu can possess other people outside Gunko.
I theorized Imu can only directly take over people who have the Mark of the Abyss Gunko described earlier, and, I'm pushing that theory until there's a reason not to.
Hope Saturn looks good here.
Nice to see Saturn get a serious fight on God Valley, after Egghead really wasted him as a combatant. Saturn's a fantastic villain, glad he's used here. Maybe Imu won't summon the rest of the Gorosei? We'll see.
Since Oda loves his 4 = death stuff (why Yamato's Cover series ends in 44), I can see Rocks lasting one more chapter, getting Domi Reversi'd in 1163, then dying in 1164, possibly to Harald, if he shows up.
