The legend of the sword says that it can destroy entire countries even against the user's will.

On the second attempt, he finally succeeded in taming it because he understood Kikoku's will and didn't treat it like some wild animal

:risitears:

Destroying the countries doesn't mean country level destructions. It’s a cursed blade, so that line isn’t literal. In One Piece, cursed swords like the Kitetsu line don’t nuke countries, they “destroy” through fate. Their curse drives wielders to madness or death, causing chaos and bloodshed wherever they go. So the sword’s legend means it brings destruction through its users, not by sheer power.

For example, Law plan to killing Doflamingo led to destruction of something huge, like beast pirates and Bigmom pirates.
Bro is onto nothing again, the first time Zoro wields Enma and he immediately demonstrated cutting a large cliff. A cursed sword with that high of a tradeoff offers something valuable in exchange — access to power.

All the other surrounding mythos supports how deadly Kikoku is as a weapon:
Only one other legendary swordsman in 200 years has tamed it
If you’re too weak then you die
You can only master it with haki

Because that's in the description of the sword 😭😭.

Enma absorbs ryou and cut more.

Kikoku is more like Sandai, kills the user in some way. In case of kikoku it destroys countries, symbolic. But it doesn't mean catastrophic destruction like nuclear weapon or some shi.

You can master it without haki lmao.

Garling in GD was the leader of the Holy Knights; we expected him to be at least Yonko-level. :ihaha:

But anyway, he's not strong enough for Xebec. In fact, Xebec had to be nerfed in this matchup. Imu will probably do some reverse dome to get Xebec.
