Not sure Haki is involved. These black lightnings are shown very often as an indication of intense clashes. When Katakuri just threw Luffy into a wall, there also were these lightnings.
The problem is not him being skilled or not, is King being MUCH stronger with a sword, likely a sword in his hand is a bigger powerup than his hybrid form.... And he is already strugling with king as it is.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that in my post, this further obliterates the myth that Big Mom-tards have been pushing that Big Mom only got shat on so much in WCI because she was out of her mind lol. Oda clearly intends to disrespect her as much as possible even when she’s in-character.
He does that to her, because of her strength. She would easily murder all the straw hats in Wano, but she simply cannot do that. He then turns the situation into a joke where she obviously isn't hurt at all, but incapacitated for a small amount of time.
Sanji did good job there, unexpected.... wasnt counting on him to be able to rescue Momonosuke with King and Queen being there...what came after it also wasnt bad, he withstood a kick exchange :cheers:
