He attacked Kid from behind
The man saw 10 seconds into the future and ran from 1000 meters and caught up with Kid, and Kid, who is a Yonko lvl, couldn't even see 2 seconds into the future to dodge the blow or cover his body with advcoc like Garp
Ndule's excuses in 2025:nicagesmile:
Shanks has Fs blocking haki. His entire fighting style
revolves around catching people off guard

:watchout:

Yea

A very loud minority did and they were absolutely right.
This fandom is funny.
Imu already kill one , he does not give a fuck .
I mean we know he give people regen but he also only give certain people no aging .
How ever it work it good chnace that he can't do it unlimited and power like that normal go back to user to have them at full power in a lot of shonens.
So it very possible he will take back that power and get stronger if he the FV but we will see in a few years lol.
He only killed him for keeping Emeth along with failing to kill Luffy tho

Chapter’s not anything to get too hyped about - Garling taking a massive L is funny, but you can chalk it done to him maybe not being in his prime. “Haki surpasses all, but Lin Lin give me the fish fruit you just found” Kaido and Chadbeard teaming up with Rocks at the end was nice. Rayleigh being mid and trying to escape the island whilst his crew stays and fights - no wonder dude turned into a sad, philandering drunk; “Dark King”, my ass. Xebec and Eiris’ dialogue was nice - showing they legitimately cared for each other.

However there are massive issues:-
- Garp’s character took a massive hit, someone who sees the WG’s atrocities and then continues to work for them for the next 40 years
- Sengoku, knowing the true meaning of the celestial dragon’s ’field trip’, makes him appear to be a heartless monster.
- If the main battle is between Imu and Xebec, where did Roger and Garp come into play or has that not happened yet.
- Xebec being Roger’s first and greatest rival despite not a single in screen combat encounter has all the trappings of a massive retcon.
- Lhakky being the most useless plot device in history. So glad Gaban didn’t end up with her.
- The holy knights being useless despite all the build up.
Like I said before, the only non-fraud here is Newgate.

We can see some good reaction here from Garp. Let's see if he's going to do something about it just like what Dragon did to redeem himself.

Now you see how important it is to use advcoc in high level combat? Luffy was nerfed to the point where he could only hit Kizaru with advcoc once.
Fuck that .
That was Oda being lazy as fuck .
I want to nerf luffy so cat and mouse to run out of gear 5 .
Then you need better AcOC to hurt the elders.
At least with other haki when you get better as using them you can see differnt in the fight .
Better ACoC going look like same shit that sometimes people can't tell if it CoA.
Egghead was such trash fighting wise in every way .

Nah, those who shit on Whitebeard for being a "good lackey" doesn't understand his character. His character is built around bushido/honour.
Which is why the final panel at the character's demise, had the narrator mentioning "he didn't have a coward's scar on his back". You can twist around him "running from Garp" to slander him for that, but like Loda says, it's a matter of reading comprehension.

Whitebeard is absolutely staying true to his established character trait here. He is a Zoro like figure of the old gen, just more uncontrolled (and better).

The hype isn't that he was some obedient lackey.
It is that he honours his role as (the effective) first mate of Rocks, to stand side by side with his captain and long time friend, to face an incomprehensible evil power that they both consider almost hopeless to face against. Even though he doesn't really have to.

That's the entire point of this conversation:

Rocks is basically asking Whitebeard to escape, and Whitebeard chalks up an excuse to fight alongside his captain against this monster.

It's big hype and character moment for Whitebeard.

Roger - Ray - Shanks
It is absolutely not big hype for WB. He is staying true to his morals as a character. It wouldn't be good for him to betray Xebec I agree, cause that isn't WB but lmao at "big hype"

Big hype for the man called World's Strongest isn't running errands for another man while the narrator essentially calls it Xebec, Roger, and Garp's era.

Even having this discussion is a disservice to what WB stood for during MF. This is a textbook loss of aura. No one will be able to look at WB the same ever again. We went from him being a clear cut big dawg to celebrating him being a good first mate lmfao.

If you narrow it down to 3 non demon characters WB does not make the cut on this island. For any Yonkou that would be ok, for the WSM even at old age that is a fall from grace.
