I said colonist, where do you see me mentionning children here? Learn to read before making remarks on the english of others. I do not include children who are innocent, I included colonists who served in the IDF and thus participated in the oppression of Palestinians. As such, it was possible for people to cheer on an attack on the oppressor while also aknowledging the war crime that happened.

While I do not agree at all with the action itself, this is really no different from any western state executing traitors to the nation. Not necessarily. There are two very distinct things that happenned on octobor 7th: A legitimate action of resistance and a War crime. Cheering the action of one doesn't necessarily mean cheering the other. Unless you think actions of resistances can only be called that when they do not derive from the pure way you perceive action of resistance. In which case, you would delegitimize them.

Problem here : The action is unethical on basis. The act of resistance in itself is not. So celebrating the wiping out of a resistance group - as an oppressor - is unethical to begin with. I might be stupid, but you are politically and ethically illiterate.
