Relax. Joyboy's Haki knocked the five elders out of their forms and made Imu drop on his knees shivering for a reason. I guess GV was situational. As the spoilers implied, Imu emotionally and psychologically manipulated and compromised him and used that weak spot. Xebec probably will resist Vegeta style too to some extend.

This is the shittiest way Oda could have handled it and I am not talking about Domi Reversi Xebec, which is fine and can be explained later
We should have seen some Xebec vs Imu first, then Domi Reversi and then Roger & Garp meeting and fighting him, mistaking him for the one responsible for the casualties on God Valley and putting the Garp vs Roger rivalry on ice

Ppl talking as if Kaido meant that Haki alone is enough, he never said Abilities is useless.
It's just that fruit no matter how powerful it maybe isn't enough without haki.
This haki probably is CoC to be specific
