Imu is insanely broken. Now it makes sense why Nika’s abilities are so cartoonish, you can’t take on Imu in a serious shonen style battle. He’s so broken that the only way to beat him is through pure absurdity, like turning the fight into a looney tunes episode where the villain he slips on a banana peel.

It's most likely DF based. Haki attacks didn't work on IMU in this chapter.

And, thing is I feel with devil fruits oda kind of implied devil himself.

Xebec was looking for two dfs. Teach spend decades on WB ship for Yami? Coincidence? Nah....Xebec wanted YAmi because this df is linked to Davy Jones. Just like Nika df is linked to Joyboy.

Yami df could have different name. And, his awakening could be the rebirth of Davy Jones.
