I am curious they talk of Promise day and Xebec claiming he is not Davy Jones .

Its very likely Imu decided upon having Giants as ally post God Valley . He was preparing for the Promise day battle.

I don’t think Blackbeard needs some redemption arc or to turn "good.” His story already lines up perfectly with wanting to take down Imu. He’s basically what Luffy could’ve been (same heritage, legendary bloodline, drive and dreams), but twisted by darker choices. He’s Luffy’s evil twin, chasing the same destiny from the opposite side of the moral spectrum.

That’s why the idea of Blackbeard and Luffy teaming up to destroy Imu who's suffocating the world’s dreamers, and then clashing for the One Piece afterwards would be so poetic. It’s the ultimate mirror match, and has been set up for 20+ years.

But I’ve read way too many manga to know better lol when an author drops a character this broken this late in the story, you just know who the final boss is most likely gonna be.

Imo he's the haxxest character ever with no equal. Like he creates the most haxxed ability. For example Complete Dominion, control over any living being he chooses regardless of their ability. Doesnt matter whether every Emperors or Admirals work together to kill him, he can control them with his will alone.

Imu is stronger than all Emperors combined or all Shichibukai members combined or all Strongest Title Holders combined.

Still wondering if Domi Reversi is also used on Imu.
As in, its only Imu in spirit in control of someone else. That Oda isnt hiding Imu in itself but the person controlled. Someone we know and that the twist is being someone we know. If it can be used on anyone maybe that goes with Imu being Earth, He is the world.
