Was Old Healthy WB truly WSM?

There is no narrative, statement, or anything that contradicts the fact that Shanks, Mihawk, and Akainu are weaker than Whitebeard. The only character who contradicts the fact that Whitebeard is stronger than him is KAIDO.

I used to think so in the past. But currently, IMO no.
WSM was a title he gained during his prime years and retained as he got old.

However, old healthy Whitebeard is much closer to his prime than old Garp or Rayleigh is to their prime.

Because old WB has a DF, whose mastery and powers does not reduce with age.
Only physicals and haki are shown to be strained when you get old.

Old healthy Whitebeard is in the same sub tier as the strongest mid gen characters - Kaido, Shanks, Mihawk, Dragon. While I don't think the same applies to old Garp for example.
But I think still think he would lose to them, extreme diff.

No
Even if negative IQ readers want to put old WB over Shanks and Mihawk that still leaves Kaido. And Prime Kaido is above old healthy WB everyday of the week.
If you want actual scaling of the three strongest title holders in their prime it will be Mihawk > Kaido >= WB
While Kaido and WB have legendary weapons to channel their full power those weapons are still inferior to Yoru the strongest supreme grade black blade in the world forged through history of battles by Mihawk.
People cannot understand why the titles were given to these characters. The titles of WB and Kaido were for character hype which includes individual and organizational power. WB being the WSP means that as a pirate (not as an individual fighter) he was the strongest. WB was the closest we could have got to an old version of the PK (the goal of the MC). Kaido was to be defeated to announce the end of the previous generation of Emperors.
The Emperors are supposed to be on the cusp of PK and they have individual and organizational hype to show that these monsters are able to have and govern nations of their own while openly defying the WG and Marines. That is their strength.
Shanks is current gen insert of Roger (he is same age as GV Roger). Oda introduced Shanks and Mihawk since the beginning but has kept them away for now.

If he was healthy at marineford I think he would still lose because either way he would have been stabbed stamina wise due to age he would have not been as in his prime.
If he was healthy in Marineford, he wouldn’t have gotten stabbed by Squard.

Thats the point. If he was healthy, he could have dodged that easily.

Again, Marco literally says he could easily have avoided that if he was healthy.

The fact he wasn’t healthy was why he got hit.

It’s also why Crocodile called him out for being a fraud.
He would have never Hurt him, the result would have been the same from my point of view. If old Garp sensed an I visible foe with observation so can old Wb healthy or not he would have chosen to get stabbed.

Whitebeard was 32 years old in God Valley. In my opinion, he honed his Haki after Rocks' death or disappearance. You have to stop thinking Roger was stronger than Garp; this flashback further proves their level is extremely equal, like Guy and Kakashi. So, even before Roger's death, Whitebeard was already the strongest. Remember that even with a much weaker crew and practically a teenager, Whitebeard made possible a two-day fight against all the Roger Pirates.

Regarding his title as the strongest man in the world, think of a UFC champion; even if he's sick, as long as he's not defeated, the title remains with him. That's how I think of the "title" of the old, sick Newgate. He hadn't yet been challenged for his title, and probably not the entire One Piece world knew about his illness.

In Marineford, he was no longer the strongest, Kaido and Shanks were probably stronger, Garp too, but he didn't want to fight because the condemned man was his grandson, Garp wanted to try to prevent Ace from dying by staying quiet.

WB was 36 in GV.

No Prime one was . Old WB just retained it.

Hahaha what dumb cope is this ? For the sake of argument considering their peaks never coexisting you could say that Oda intended Kaido to be superior to WB.

Kaido is peaking at same time Mihawk and he is one called WSC and in 1 vs 1 always bet on Kaido .

Mihawk having black blade has nothing to do with Kaido and in no way shows any superiority over Kaido .

You don't even know how black blades are made and manga never even hints that having superior blade means being stronger than everyone else .

Usual painter fans cope which has nothing to do with actual reality.

You call other members low IQ while you are throwing unseen level of mental retardation.

No, we’re told he quite literally fell off multiple times in the story

Titles are based off context, WB was held by reputation alone
