This is so disingenuous every single time Elbaf has been mentioned or Giants have been involved Oda has purposefully included Usopp during this arc. When Franky meets Dorry and Broggy what is the first thing they discuss? Usopp.
Oda even adds in Luffy and Usopp’s song for little garden.; You have to be a lobotomy victim at this point to deny Elbaf being Usopp’s arc.
Since people are talking about fusions here, just wait until Usopp fuses with Going Merry's Spirit. Bet Imu never met something like the Klabautermann before.

I only wish Oda made more use of the concept. Only Merry's has ever been shown and the Klabautermann hasn't been mentioned again since Water 7 outside of an anime special. You'd think the Straw Hats would've at least run into another crew that loved their ship by now.

Yeah, it's a shame we never learnt more. Whitebeard seemed to get emotional when his Ship burnt down during Marineford. It would have been a nice touchy moment if Oda drew a smiling Klabautermann there looking at him or something. I remember there was this old theory that the grim reaper Zoro saw in Wano was the Klabautermann of Pluton, but I don't know.
When we first learnt about that Mural in Elbaf, I looked at it atleast 100 times to maybe see something even closely resembling a Klabautermann, but nothing. Still hope we will learn more later on. It has to have an origin.
