Then at some point, he had whoever the user of the Ope-Ope Fruit at the time (Maybe a fellow ex-slave?) swap his and King Nerona Imu's bodies and then he killed him and took his identity.

All of the things Imu does is just to never have anyone know he was just a simple slave and thief once.

Throwing Kaido into a mountain doesn’t hurt him — we saw Nika grab this guy with toon force and slam his head into the ground multiple times. This dude jumps off islands from 10,000 meters up. People are saying he was “defeated” just because we haven’t gotten any updates on his and Big Mom’s conditions after Xebec’s attack, since apparently they were sent flying far away. It’s like Roger using the Divine Departure against Oden— without the final part, we could’ve assumed Oden had been “defeated” too.
