Nah in all seriousness, he’d be below Buggy’s 3.1b as Buggy is a Yonko so his bounty is inflated.
He’d also be below 2.2b Teach, as Teach was given this bounty when he was an Emperor. An entry level Emperor bounty is 2.2b so Saint Shanks would have a lower bounty than this if he wasn’t a Yonko.
I’d say maybe Shanks’s actual bounty is like 2 bil.

You are starting to understand why bounties are not a reliable indicator of strength. There are many different factors that massively inflate certain bounties (the Yonko/Garp/Koby) and massively deflate others. Even Luffy’s bounty is deflated to minimize his involvement in Wano. You are rarely getting accurate power levels with bounties when it comes to massive groups like the Yonko.

I think you guys are oversimplifying things here and forgetting the nuance.
World Government Budget doesn't just involve bounties on Pirates.
They have to worry about Infrastructure development, Parks and Recs, Roads, Bridges, Ships, Artillary, Salaries for Marines, Leisure of CGs, Development of HQs, Marijois, Impel down and literally every country under World Government, tho they are probably taking more tax than giving back still they are literally governing the world.
You can't just say WG is much richer than CG so their bounties have to higher.
As far as Django thing is concerned, I didn't know that, glad you guys are paying attention to manga still. But it makes sense, low level and high level doesn't worth the same way.
Django is not a threat, he is a midget who can be destroyed by a random CG Commander. Investing 8 Million or 10 Million is not worth it as he is an expandable.
But spending 3 Billion on an admiral is actually a very promising investment, an Admiral taken down, is a huge relief to CG.
Otherwise Kuzan isn't gonna have 24 Billion Bounty lol if you wanna apply WG to cross guild math.
Kuzan's own captain had 2.25 Billion at the time Kuzan was his subordinate. He only recently punched into 3 Billion club.
Logic suggests Kuzan would have closer to 2 Billion like any top tier Pirate Subordinate would.
But Logic doesn't always apply to one piece so we will see.

This dumb argument that a captain and a subordinate with equal bounties means a subordinate low diffs a captain should die the moment 27 years old Shanks's bounty was 1.042 billion berries while 28 years old Jack's bounty was 1 billion berries. You think Oda care about characters power level when he assigned bounties?

If Benn Beckman had a higher bounty than Shanks while in his crew then it would 100% confirm he is much stronger than Shanks. Not just stronger much stronger as Zoro is more or less equal tho he has been stronger than Luffy at times but always lower bounty.
