Domi Reversi and 1 vs 2 is the way for Oda to keep how Xebec exactly stand in comparison to Roger ambigiguous as DR strenght boost is unclear aside from the immortality
Let’s not forget Xebec neg diffed 10 DR booster Warriors along with 2 holy knights simultaneously earlier this arc and that DR Dory and Brogy (who’s base is already a 1.8 Billion Berry Pirate) need to be defeated this arc

I don't really care if Rayleigh or Admiral Who would do worse, acting like a character being treated as a hype tool is positive portrayal is strange. You didn't see Sanji fans bragging about him being used to show Doffy strenght
Not being part of the era-defining battle isn’t good portrayal either. We’re really out here acting like the most mid named attack in 30 years of serialization, and beating Ganzui somehow tops showing ACoC and fighting with the literal top 1 and 2. 🤷♀️🤷♀️

The verdict on Xebec and how much DR boosted him will be held until we know more about DR in the next arcs, but so far the mere fact Oda chosen him to be the one becoming a demon and wrecking havoc is further spotlight to his already MC role throughout the flashback.
