Main big bad from first world will be either someone related to imu or someone related to BB's lineage or someone unrelated to both who will appear as FV beyond imu and BB.

I think the possibility of BB being destroyer variant of nika is more likely so his ancestor being main big bad in first world is less likely imo.

One thing I like about the recent writing is how Oda is going out of his way to show that even though Imu recognizes them as Joyboy or Davy Jones, the characters themselves have no idea wtf he's talking about.

It’s not some hidden double personnality or reincarnation, Imu is just putting the blame on characters that died 800 years ago for ideologies that keeps on existing without them. He's really against progress that is all.

He wants his world to just stay in the past.

Idk we know that DFs are just people's desires and as Kaido said awakening occurs when a DF user's mind and body catch up to their powers, now Kaido doesn't know that part of the lore but we can interpret this as when the current user's desire ( will ?? ) aligns with the original user's desire, so imho it's not necessarily a requirement like you can inherit someone's will without having it's DF, that's just a bonus ( ofc that's speculation and a bit of my headcanon )
