Current Events Sanji vs King or Zoro vs King? Pros and cons.

if sanji cant win against King, you think he will win against king? he even passed out against nerfed pleasure, getting nailed by hawkins.
did Zoro said he will round up the samurai? if i remember, Queen torturing bunch of samurai in Udon Prison though.

you should mention the context of those clashes though...yes he lost a CLASH to doffy but he didn't know anything about doffys powers at the time. Same reason luffy lost to ceasar. you. noones dumb enough to say caesar was stronger than luffy because of that.
also he definatly wasn't on the losing end of the vergo one. vergo was get hit repeatedly by sanji before that and sanji literaly just had his body blown up by nami.

That would be such a waste. I don't want to see yonko commanders get fodderized by superior opponents when they could be great main fights for someone else. It would really suck if instead of Jinbei vs Jack we get Zoro mid diffing him and then going on to his real fight while Jinbei gets downgraded to flying six fights.
He didnt pass out against a random "nerfed pleasure", it was Killer...The anime confirmed the pannel everyone seems to forget, and that he wasnt at 100%, plus he only hit because he was atacked from behind because he got careless and thought the fox would wait for him to finish his duel.
No one is saying Queen is not a swordsman, we dont know yet(even though he probably isnt, considering swordskills are not his strong point since he didnt atack BM with a sword atack, but with a physical one).
Whoever of the two faces King, it should be a pretty damn hill climb of a battle, similar to how Luffy vs katakuri was, dont expect Sanji or Zoro to win the first few clashes, or else that would mean either

I think people underestimate how much of an upgrade the raid suit is. The Germa were so weak without them that when they got caught at the teaparty without their suits they didn't even bother trying to fight. They just gave up and accepted their deaths because they wouldn't stand any chance even just trying to run away. Then with the raidsuits, they made Sanji, who was getting the better of flying six level fighters, look like a scrub in comparison. It took them from non combatants to stronger than Sanji. If Sanji was already at least as strong as Oven and Daifuku, and the raidsuits essentially doubles his strength, then he should be able to fight a commander. A YC1 specifically seems like a stretch, but we've had strawhats beat opponents who were much stronger than them before.

I'm confused because didnt you bring up those two incidents in the first place to somehow prove sanji is too weak to fight commanders? how are these clashes you brought up even relevant anymore to whether or not sanji can beat a commander if you agree that luffy is stronger than caesar? or that sanji was weakened BEFORE the vergo clash?

the germa are not that weak. compared to sanji. that's why sanji follows their path which is using raid suit.not them follows sanji's.
they got exoskeleton to begin with and bmp need to use special bullet to hurt them. rs is an upgrade but not make them far superior in everything. remind you sanji got battered with base niji let alone ichiji.you can say oh sanji get hit bcause niji was threatening him but earlier sanji kick his face and did 0 damage while Henry needle did pretty good damage let alone Henry sword.ppl thought he beat rs yonji then it means he is stronger than ichiji. well that just fuckd up.lol.

Nothing....but the whole wano Hype made a lot of people(me included)into thinking he was at the same level or superior than Katakuri..Thats why for me him not winning a clash against Sanji would be dehyping him.
Potrayal/hype-wise, Kata is superior to King until now.
This guy is WCI main antagonist and has to face main protagonist, it is such a very reasonable he got better portrayal/hype.
Kata was portrayed as very competent, smart, and near God level of adoration in WCI before fighting with Luffy. Heck, he even can see slightly into the future too and predict not just move but also what other would say before they actually said it!
On the other hand, King isn't main antagonist in this arc. He just one of main antagonist trusted henchman. Nothing more.
Oda already 'dehyping' him with having him need to use 'Kaido' name to summon another member while he is supposed to be the strongest Calamity.
Would you see Kata got the same treatment? Or woud you see Kata being insulted by Smoothie, Cracker, or Pekoms? Definitely not.
The only two portrayal that King has above Kata is his more 'edgy' design and (supposed to have) higher bounty.
Portrayal wise, other than that two, he is under Kata until now and it is make sense considering the difference in WCI and Wano context.
We don't know King power level yet, but hype-wise, until chapter 988, WCI Kata cleary > King.
