Ngl, when you read this flashback and see how only like, maybe 3-4 characters are really getting focus, and even in verse legends like Rayleigh, and idk Garling, maybe Shiki etc are getting shafted, I don't think I get how people have convinced half the cast in current times is going to be given focus and not only somehow become top tiers, but also surpass the current top characters of the verse, like

You have people who think Doffy will get out of jail, and cement himself as admiral level, and same with Katakuri
You have people who think that Yamato will suddenly get a lot of focus and become stronger then Kaido, same with people thinking Koby and Sabo will end up stronger then Garp and Dragon and on Luffys level, despite currently having basically no actual combat W's
You have people who think Franky will somehow end up stronger then Emmeth, I guess? Which would potentially be above even current Luffy.....

Like realistically, if we're going to be doing fastpiece with barely any fights, and with Oda not wanting anyone to look better then Luffy towards the end as opposed to earlier where more characters were allowed to shine at like MF or something, I don't think any newgen agendas are really that solid except maybe like, Luffy, Teach, maybe Zoro and maybe Loki.

OP fans saw Oda hype up the supernova for a decade only to have half of them job in background panels during Wano. If they still expect their faves to receive more than a couple panels in the endgame, the disappointment is well deserved. Especially the way Oda is leaving everything till the end, good luck wrapping up all 153726210 One Piece characters which Oda has baited the fandom on.
