Fraudger and Rocks Pirates were the biggest disappointment in the entire series.
We knew Yonko crews were pathetic and overrated in the grand scheme of things and most of us had high expectations for all of these big shots in the flashback, but Oda failed to deliver.
Aside from Xebec and Garp, literally everyone else was complete garbage.

God Valley has once and for all confirmed that Oda is the most awful Battle Shonen creator when it comes to battles / combat of any kind.
This is why I cant help but laugh at everybody who these days shits on Anime fights and calls it "lightshow, non-canon garbage" or whatever other cope they wanna use.

At this stage, Luffy vs Blackbeard will be a fade to black and Luffy looking badly hurt while standing on a defeated Blackbeard the next chapter!

Man, I think Garp is one of the most morally bankrupt characters in this series, but the way people have been coping about him NOT being Rogers rival and equal for years has been stupid from the start.
You only see it from the clowns that ONLY consume One Piece and no other Manga or stories in general. Yeah sure, the strong older grandpa of the MC was a bum / a fraud. Who ever said shit like that should have been laughed out of the room from the very start.

The problem isn’t ability.
it’s interest.
I think Oda genuinely doesn’t think fights matter. It is beyond comprehension haki has existed for nearly 2 decades now and it still doesn’t make any sense
At this point you have conclude that it’s intentional. Oda intentionally doesn’t want to explain how his fight mechanics work because he intentionally has no interest in them.
Oda legitimately simply doesn’t care about fights. He knows he has an obligation to deliver fights so when he feels forced to do so like at the end of arcs he forced himself to pull out like those 2-3 chapters of Luffy vs Kaido that were decent before G5. And then after G5 he went back to what he really wanted, goofy shit that doesn’t make sense. Hence why he gave Luffy a power that can be whatever he decides it to be.
