Never thought Oda would make Ray and Gaban do nothing when this is the only time we’ll see them in their youth. Such a shame. At least Whiki left a chad

Glad it was at least an extended fight. With how the flashback has been I wouldn't have expected multi-chapters, so this was good. God Valley has been nice so far thankfully. I hope the rest of the flashback is good so it goes out on a high note. Shiki was pretty good though he could've done more, I appreciate that Oda gave most of the major Rocks members something going on (aside from Stussy and Gloriosa for some reason). I was hoping for more major fights even if off-panel, like Rayleigh and Gaban could've faced bigger threats but Rayleigh beating Sommers was nice. Dragon's role sounds great, love that he's trying to save people and at least try to rectify his mistakes. Shame we didn't get many extended fights, but for giving Rocks good characterization it succeeded. I hope we get a lot on the aftermath though, then some more on Harald and Loki and the conclusion to their story then back to the present.

I feel like thats my only issue with this event. There are tiers to who he focused on.

- Rocks, Roger, Garp, Whitebeard, BM and Kaido have all gotten featured in multiple big panels and have obviously been center focus throughout the FB.

- Next is Shiki, John, Rayleigh and somewhat Ganzui. All are at least featured in 1 double spread during this event actually doing something. Its what I expected everyone to st least get somewhere during it.

- Then you have Garling, that one other God Knight, Gaban and Silver Axe who have pages/panels but dont really....do anything lol. Silver Axe is the worst because he gets hyped multiple times before the story and then proceeds to get one panel showing him getting injured by Pinmarco

- Then the bottom of the barrel. Stussy, Gloriosa, Barbel, the rest of the GKs, and no one else from Garp and Roger's groups get at all featured.


So the last 2 are disappointing and while I expect to see more of some of these characters eventually, its a shame Oda couldnt give another chapter of just building conflict around them. Gaban confuses me the most since hes literally a featured character in Elbaf
