No, he’s showing Roger and rocks clash and then Garp punch Rocks and then Rocks uses a Haki burst so powerful that it tosses them both away and then the black lightning from Rock’s haki burst goes up above the island and then we cut to the sky split.

the only black lighting above the island during the sky split is Rocks’

When Garp punched Aokiji in the face, it also caused an explosion and both sides were thrown
Now you're saying Garp's punch didn't cause any explosion and had no role in splitting the sky?
It's clear that all 3 people played a role in this feat

These guys had maxed out CoC at God Valley. We didn't even need the skysplit we saw Roger and Garp get Imu's attention just by yelling and releasing island wide haki.

Instead this is how the scene actually looked

Xebec overpowers Roger & Garp and send them flying with a haki burst of his own, only then we get an emphasis on a skysplit.
I'm not a mangaka, but I'm confident enough that I know how Oda panelling work lol. This scene was mean to highlight how strong DR Xebec's haki is.

I think the experiences in gv promoted Roger to do his own research on the mysteries of the past. What does Garp know about the void century? He didn't need void century information to feel the Gorosei are scum.

Its gon be on next chapter since we didn't see the Xebec "demise" On this one.
Garp needs to know the real history, don't forget Sengoku of all people knew about the Will of D. So its not weird that Garp also knows from someone else and in this case its Xebec.

Whitebeard has clashed with Roger multiple times without using his DF. The clash with Rocks involved both DF and advanced conqueror's.

By the way, Fatbeard almost got one shot by 1hp old sick GIGAbeard without using his DF and had him begging for mercy
