I simply know for a fact that I understand something that some people here (you included) do not. If you understood what I'm saying, you would agree, too. For people who are trying to explain to me how words work, you sure are leanant on avoiding basic language subtilities. No, it's not "hand in hand", it's a major difference that any english person can understand. One implies a present observation of a lack of understanding while the other implies a clear impossibility present or future. Don't try to trick your way out of this. Accept to be wrong and move on.
