WinWin looking only a bit scruffled up after eating a demigod's AdCoC knee to the face :fullmom:

Lord Streusen collecting nothing but Ws:Woro
Btw, it can be argued that Linlin's remark about Kaido never being able to beat her is potentially legit. Kaido obviously remembers stuff like this, deeply cares about it. Narratively, during their time in Wano he would've been absolutely eager to thoroughly rub it in her face that he's surpassed her. Yet he never really tried to. Perhaps he knew that despite all the decades he still had nothing to definitively rebut her claim.

Just some food for thought.

Think this would have been better split into two chapters. It was a bit messy having the Rocks fight and the various groups leaving in the same chapter. I think it’s actually the longest fight Oda’s ever drawn in a flashback, mind you.

I don’t think the Yonko and Rocks part was done overly well, they just seem kind of …thick? Somehow managing to not think it’s a bit suspicious that the demon monster stabs Rocks and he suddenly grows twice the size and starts trying to kill everyone?

I think kid Dragon is the MVP of God’s Valley, all things considered, when you weigh up that he’s trying to do all this as what looks like a relative weakling. At least the other MVP Kuma had his Buccaneers body and DF. I really hope we get some conversations between Garp and Dragon in the future.

That conversation at the end with Roger and Garp about how to beat Rocks, we’ll need a proper translation for it.

Funny thing is Roger and Garp looked way worse and had to put all their energy/haki in their final attacks like a big gample
cause they were actually fighting xebec you dumbfuck

they didn't dip like little fucking bitches. ungrateful underlings like kaido meme and wb should be fucking ashamed that their captain had to rely on his rivals to put him down cause his underlings were weak and useless.

Fucking clowns smiling and laughing when their captain was in literal hell begging and crying for a mercy kill.

What a fucking travesty :whitepress:

It's so clunky. At this point, I'd rather Oda used narrator bubbles to explain haki mechanics than to have someone who should already know that information be lectured on it, losing face in the process.
It really depends on who trained them though. I've wondered about Roger and Ray for a long time.

Garp clearly learned the bulk of his skill as a Marine. It's unlikely that the CoC part was a good education
