DRocks was using ACoC defensively despite there being no black lightning coming from his body. This means that even if there is no black lightning a character can still theoretically be using some form of ACoC.
What’s more, invisible ACoC can be stronger than a different character’s lightning attacks. As seen with Garp’s black lightning punch to the face doing nothing to Rocks.
gg, lightning scaling is officially pointless
Big Mom was probably using invisible ACoC against Kid and Law. Hence fodder were getting knocked out by her haki(see: Usopp scene).
Kuzan probably used ACoC on Garp
Zoro probably used ACoC to beat Lucci
Luffy probably used ACoC against the Gorosei in egghead. The Gorosei probably used ACoC too.

if a character is confirmed(or highly likely) to have ACoC, I’m just going to assume that any black lightning they use is ACoC. If they have supernatural durability/invulnerability(ex. BM, Kaido, Warcury, Garp), I’m going to assume that is ACoC too.
If a character confirmed to have ACoC gets into high diff fights(Luffy vs Gorosei, BM vs Kid and Law), I’m going to assume they use invisible ACoC as well.
Let me know if any of these assumptions feel wrong. The general principle I’m going with is “does the story make more or less sense if these characters are using ACoC?”
