Well after impulsively challenging them in part 1, sure. And I'm not arguing Sasuke is a retard, but that he's consistently opted for CQQ in the start of his fights, from part 1 against Nardo, to Killer bee in Ship, to Dino sama in Burrito

Unless I'm wrong, all EMS is granting Sasuke is eternal sight, so we would have to adress the fact that MS Sasuke failed to kill 5 characters significantly weaker then Kaido. Obviously Crydo hasn't killed either, but we did see him easily deal with several characters who wouldn't have been a joke to Sasuke at that point.

Kishi wrote himself into a corner by making EMS only prevent vision loss from using the MS. It should’ve also come packaged with another MS ability, or at least a generic amp to your MS abilities.

We get Naruto's internal monologue on him sensing Obito better, while Kishimoto pans to Sasuke's eyes focusing mid-monologue, before they nearly hit Obito at the same time.

So it's very much a factor.

Naruto was a lot more drained than Sasuke. He’d been fighting nonstop for like 100 chapters, and Sasuke needed a boost from Jugo anyways

Hold on, Naruto and Sasuke being able to tag Obito does not establish they got faster since they were blitzed by him. lol. They can sense him better, but they still need to work together against him.
And Obito only actually loses because he has to combat the entire Shinobi alliance through the tree and his struggle with controlling the ten tails etc

Aside from the time he learned lee's Taijutus back in like, part 1, Sasuke has never been presented as some insane speedster, at least not from what I remember. In his encounter with Dino sama, he's the one who ends up praising the dino for it's speed, not the other way around. Kaido should probably be able to keep up with him in speed comfortably.
