Present day Garling is gonna have an insane comeback imo, being made a Gorosei and having an insane glow up design wise compared to his banana ass hair look before.
Also with his hair being a star and moon shape now, there's a heavy astronomy theme to his design. He's truly the most Celestial looking character now.
Someone said somewhere that he might be the Kabuto of OP and I doubt that but the Figarlands are the Uchihas of OP more or less and in sure due to Shamrock and Shanks too naturally, Garling will play a big role in future and do some mad shit (mayve even with new MADS specifically) and there will be plot twists. I don't see garling being loyal and subservient to Imu especially now after what they did to Saturn too and Oda put Garling on the who will find the OP double spread gor a reason too.
Despite his and the holy knights pathetic, actual negative/minus score performance at God Valley, I do think Garling will get some kind of Blackbeard or Shigaraki or even Kabuto style power creep and comeback somehow.
This would indirectly hype up Shanks and Shamrock too ofc.
We still need to know who put that abyss circle in the castle at Elbaph and why Harald was betrayed and killed, I wonder if Garling could have masterminded that somehow?
I think Loki will get domi reversi'd too, I think DR requires the subject to be wounded/she'd blood/feel pain and to very angered/emotionally unstable (and thus weakening haki focus too) and Shamrock brutally wounded Loki before, whose still recovering atm.
Loki being DRed would truly make shit hot the fan even more and bring that Surtur-like fury to Elbaph and thus Ragnarock. fire and lightning the biggest threats to Elbaph after all.
But we still need to see the heaven realm and presumably more giants and army of Elbaph potentially, I doubt there's nobody there ofc and there gotta be a reason Oda doesn't show it and talk about it, it's the next Onigashima and Enies Lobby imo.
