Tom didn’t even become a nakama lmao, there’s no reason to believe he was yapping about the top secret Pluton blueprints that only Galley La knows about to Roger, and even if he did for some reason, how would Shiki know that?

All they knew was that the blueprints were somewhere in Water 7

Anyways, if Shiki knew about the Pluton blueprints, wouldn’t he just go to Water 7 and get them from Tom instead of fighting Roger for no reason?

Roger wouldn’t have known the location of any Ancient Weapons until Lolden joined him, and the “Shiki somehow knew that Roger’s shipwright had the top secret Pluton blueprints” cope doesn’t really make sense

1. Shiki still thinks God Valley sinking is related to an ancient weapon
2. Oda forgot, or retconned that particular plot point
3. Something else will happen wrt ancient weapons after GV and before the Edd war

It would just be weird for Oda totally to connect it to a canon plot point like Shiki breaking out of jail and never elebaorating. I'm sure there's some weirdness, but that even applies to the manga at times, Oda can barely keep his GV story straight from Wano-Egghead-Elbaf
