I actually called it lol, well it turned out to be Garling who killed him. I was right in suspecting that Xebec was a Joyboy/Chosen One adjacent character. Didn’t know that there’d be a Davy Jones though.

Xebec was supposed to be the next Joyboy but Roger killed him prematurely.
