It would be weird if Roger and Garp weren’t at their primes during GV, but also they do look a lot younger than they did during Roger’s era (Roger doesn’t even have his iconic stache yet).

Shamrock was given roughly the same level of importance as Gorosei Garling by Oda. It’s obvious that Shanks and Shamrock got some special genes from their mom

Idk were they? Gargling got an intro from the narrator, which is I think a first since Kaido(?), Killed Teachs (D)ad who stepped up, and inspired Dragons revolutionary career. And even though it doesn´t really make sense narratively, Oda does end up hyping up Old gen versions look better then mid gen ones, with few exceptions(anyone telling you Dragon is portrayed as stronger then Garp is just blatantly lying, btw), plus Gargling will probably get a Yokai, though maybe he and Shamrock could have western inspired powers instead.
