I really hate this though, Shanks being a Holy Knight and having that mark on his arm, all agenda aside. It really changes the beginning of the story for me and Shanks actions and intentions but I did always fear that Shanks is not who he says he is and it's all too good to be true ofc.

Tbf Oda gassed it up by having Gunko be in the flower room 24/7 and having her be his personal servant and vessel. God Valley and this chapter killed that but before that she did seem a little special.
