all of this is retconed stuff tbh Garling got Smoked by prime Rocks and all he said was that it was gonna take a while to regenerate due to the dmg and he apparently has no scars even if Teach had insane potential if Shanks had the regeneration powers he should've healed from those even if very slowly at least so i just think it's some inconsistency unless ofc one can chose to just use the teleportation thing and not the regen power
