Garp with grey hair and Roger with his mustache is supposed to signify their late primes, It's not when they entered their primes you dolt. You don't enter your prime when half your head is grey. At best you can argue they peaked there. It's the best balance of strength and wisdom. On GV they had all the strength and all the techniques but they still had a career ahead of them.

Their ACoC just wasn’t as strong as it was in their primes. Linlin had all her homies and ACoC too by GV, yet Oda straight up told us she was way weaker back then. So we can only assume that BM’s ACoC magically got stronger since GV. It’s just yet another example of Haki being a dogshit power, we have no way to know how strong someone’s ACoC actually is

Powerscaling aside, Law and Kid don't even have a similar dynamic to Zoro and Sanji- like at all lol. It's such a random comparison. Law and Kid don't even have a dynamic as a duo, only as a trio with Luffy. They teamed up for 1 battle.

Xebec and Larald are true equals. Zoro and Sanji are pseudo equals, with Zoro being like 2% stronger

In fact, you made the claim that Roger had a haki bloom before & after GV. And the manga doesnt substantiate that, Roger didnt gain any new ability.

PUs aren't the only way of getting stronger.

I said before and after the Xebec fight. He didn't have a haki bloom twice.

One of the two are equals because they actually fight eachother, and the world sees them in the same light. Zoro/Sanji and Law/Kidd are just acting like gay tsunderes for eachother. There´s a pretty big difference, imo.

Personally think that Oden was Kaido's antagonistic rival more than Big Mom, who just seems like a low budget Kaido written for Kidd/Law to defeat.

Oda doesn't give af about age headcanons. If he wants to consider a 40 year old a rookie, he will. It makes no sense by real world standards, but this is a fictional story. It's not the real world.

Personally I don't view Sengoku as Garp's equal though. Only a comrade that is close in power.

There are no statements that portray them as equal, nor has Sengoku proven himself to be on the level of Garp, Roger, or Whitebeard. If anything, I view him as someone closer to Rayleigh.
