Every other chapter I go back and forth on Shamrock being the main antagonist of this arc but I feel like its starting to edge that way
- Shows up and is the main instigator of the arc
- Literally is Shanks' twin and is causing giants and other to think Shanks is causing harm in the country
- Started beef with Loki and his dialogue implies that Loki will want revenge at some point (success depends on Shamrock's role)
- Yes, Imu is here as Gunko, but we all know Luffy isnt going to wail on a female victim. We also know Brook is going to do something to help Gunko and break the curse probably. This suggests Imu will have to call someone back unless he just tries repeating GV with Domi Reversi'ing Loki.
- Shamrock's father is essentially the main instigator of God Valley, being that he found the Davy Clan there, which spiraled the events we eventually see.
- Now Oda is focusing on the Figarlands overall that feels like some narrative payoff must come this arc. Its like Saturn being directly involved in Kuma's Pacifista creation and losing his memories, not to mention experimenting on Ginny in the past.
- Last tidbit is I feel like Bonney is Shamrock's daughter. Given the timeline and the clear implication that Ginney definitely was definitely raped while being enslaved, something tells it makes most sense to be him. And worse yet Bonney is on the island. Not to mention Garling does something nearly as despicable to the mother of his kids in GV, its not beneath them.
Honestly cant wait to get back to present time and see how this plays out
