Immediately after Rocks we are being told that Roger was in competition with Whitebeard Big mom and Kaido for territories

Roger had already reached Lodestar island one year before God valley and no one cared. It didn’t change shit. Roger just spent several years after that seemingly unremarkably until he COMPLETELY LUCKED OUT on finding Oden on Whitebeard’s crew and begging Whitebeard for him. And that’s what got him the one piece.

I don't understand. So there are three marks level. Does it mean there are three god knight ranks as well? In the spoiler there is a part about the "devoted blade of god" and "knight of god". Are those separate ranks with separate marks? Is there a first level rank with the lower mark?

It's similar to captain --> VA --> Admiral ranks among Marines

IF 13 refers to the total of Elders + Knights, this means there are only 8 Knights of God (and we're currently lacking one). For now we have:

• St. Figarland Garling
• St. Topman Warcury
• St. Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro

• St. Figarland Shamrock
• St. Manmayer Gunko
• St. Shepherd Sommers

9 Elders/Knights. Again, if it's just a total of 13 we're missing 4, one of which could be St. Satchels Maffey? She was the only new one from God Valley that was given a personal introduction and was shown near to Garling and Sommers when Garling killed Xebec. She has the highest chances of actually being still alive and operative in the present day.
The woman who was chasing Xebec with Garling, the Knight with the Bull mask and the scythe, the Yeti, the Manmayer gungirl... some of them could still be around today.

BUT could be that the Knights of God are 13 (Supreme Commander included) and Elders are not included in the count.
Hell, might even be like this:

• 5 Elders
• 13 Knights of God
• 20+ Blades of God
