- BB was already very close to WBs level (with his own skill set) when he scarred 24-year old Shanks. He was just smart enough to keep it hidden until the time was right. He kept developing through the years but really not by that much, he was already at a level where he could defeat someone like Green Bull yet he still managed to hide it from WB.

Well on the one hand we know Green Bull also takes a lot of unnecessary damage.

But most of all I think WB was spot on about BB. He probably can take more than most in the OP world which makes him very over confident and thus susceptible to attacks like that of Magellan. That is his real weakness.

In that regard BB is like BM, Kaido, WB or Luffy rather than Law, Shanks or Mihawk who are much more cautious but I doubt any of those 3 could take the amount of punishment BB can.

Emperor title have always been portrayed to carry more weight than some random title like "wings of pirate king", "seven warlord of the seas", "world's strongest swordsman".

The only title that matches the portrayal of an emperor title are arguably the admiral title

Garling as the "Supreme Commander of HK" before his promotion.
Shamrock as the "Commander of HK".
And then 6 other HKs.

Now that Saturn is dead;
Garling is the new elder & Shamrock likely is gonna be the new Supreme Commander.

Which leaves a spot open in the HKs... the one they want Loki to fill but probably won't happen.

In all likelihood, it's gonna be Doflamingo in that spot.

Whiki may not rule the seas like Wig Mom did, but the Holy roppo bozo didn´t either. Rats biggest territory is that small ass island that Bart attacked(Elbaf doesnt count, hes just friends with them). And Rat doesn´t have RP´s or ancient weapons like Winwin did, neither does Whiki.

Well if it ends up being revealed that Kid had a misplaced grudge against Shanks then that would mean that Kid would’ve fully deserved every L he’s taken from Shanks tbf. He’s trying to get revenge on the wrong dude

As for losing his arm, if you think about it, him missing an arm is the main reason why he was able to fufill his goal of taking down an Emperor. Remember Killer was only able to bypass the spell Hawkins put on Kid because he was missing an arm. If Kid still had both arms then there’s no way Killer can save Kid and he and Law would’ve fell to Big Mom. In a way he was helped by losing an arm lol.

A new ship can always be rebuilt. Elbaph has the Adam tree. And if Shanks defeating him with Divine Departure ends up being the key to him unlocking CoC Coating, then that would be another indirect help from Shanks. This would be consistent in the way Oda writes Shanks as a Gary Stu that can do no wrong. Even when he defeats Kid he lowkey helps him lmao

Your points are honestly fair. Interestingly, Shanks has played a pivotal role in Kidd’s story directly and indirectly.

I disagree tho regarding the misplaced grudge. Even if it was misplaced, i still think he should go after Shanks.

I guess part of this also hinges on how exactly kidd lost his arm. I sincerely hope Oda reveals this one day what happened. Depending on the circumstances of it, could mean quite a bit. I have some theories but haven't delved too much into it. I could see kidd giving up his arm for his crew or maybe he just straight up picked a fight a lost bad, idk..

The second part of this is the conflict that happened outside of Elbaf. You are right that his ship can always be rebuilt. But at the end of the day, Shanks/Giants were the ones who destroyed it. And that has been Kidd's ship since he's been introduced into the story. His biggest losses to this date, outside of kaido, is to Shanks. I just can't see kid returning and not wanting to go back after Shanks, even if he learns later it was misguided. And in the elbaf scenario I believe conflict was going to happen regardless. Shanks was not going to let kidd sail by without giving his poneglyphs. And Kidd is a conqueror so he would fight no matter what.

If he needs to go after Shamrocks and Shanks then that should happen. Shanks has given him his biggest loss to date, he needs to go after him.

I think we just view it differently. Honestly, your points make sense and seem more likely, but i guess we'll see what happens.
