Meanwhile Shiki can live off pushing prime Garp/Sengoku to high diff in 1 vs 2 until the end of time, this feat will forever hold up when it comes to discussing top tiers.

The narrator flipping this moment after God Valley and highlighting Big Mom, Kaido, and Whitebeard as the pinnacle of pirates absolutely retcons this era being “Shiki’s” lol, this also means he wasn’t even the missing fourth Yonko everyone thought about, it was Roger lol

If Shiki was going to have ANYMORE plot relevance or acclaim added to his legend, it would’ve been done in this flashback. Kaido, Roger, Big Mom, and Whitebeard rule the seas Shiki sails in lol

Shamrock and Shanks aren't equals in this chapter because Shamrocks has no feats type of argument.

This confirms Oda has no plan to actually use Shiki in canon, if Oda made him a major figure he'd actually have to explain what he's up to/what happened to him. He's both canon and filler at the same time, his existence as Rockd Pirates is like a glorified easter egg

Always felt like that to me, couldn't take him seriously after the movie even though I know it's not canon.
