I haven´t seen the chap yet, idrc about that. My arguments for Shiki is that it´s already been established that he´s a top tier/yonko level. If he wasn´t, Oda would be comfortable having him lose to Garp alone, like DOn chinajo

@Kurozumi Wiwi Kizaru feeding Luffy might be good for Admiral fans for powerscaling reasons, but doesn’t it make his characterization in Egghead kinda inconsistent?

The dude easily could’ve gotten away with sandbagging a lot more than he did. Kicking Luffy directly into the Vegaforce One was just unnecessary, it’s not like Saturn would accuse Kizaru of throwing if Kizaru kicked Luffy like 1 degeee to the left so that the Vegaforce One wouldn’t be hit. Also, if fighting DR Sabo was a valid enough excuse for Fuji to not do his job, then fighting fucking Nika is a valid enough excuse for Kizaru to not kill Vegapunk.

My only way of rationalizing this inconsistency is that Kizaru only fed Luffy because Bonney’s life was being threatened in that moment, and he wanted to have her be saved since killing her wasn’t an official part of his mission. Kizaru wasn’t sandbagging anywhere else in the arc

That's not the point. The point for Shiroyru this fb was for Oda to go against the Ace novel. It said Shiki engaged in a power struggle for the new world between him, WB and Roger. Now the canon manga confirmed this. Rocks remnants went on to compete over the new world and WB + Shiki dominated and became the new Roger rivals.

It's over. Whiki won. Meme lost.

Kizaru was always aiming to just kill Vegapunk, when Saturn got involved, everyone else would be at risk too. Kizaru stayed down because both him and Saturn being up at the same time guarantees Bonney and Kuma die. No one is stopping him...he knew Luffy was running out of stamina rapidly.

I'm starting to think he actually even took WSG completely on purpose. The shift happened when he sensed Saturn coming onto the island. When Kuma punched Saturn Kizaru couldn't justify it any longer, they just signed their death sentence and as an Admiral there is a limit to what Kizaru can allow. That's why he said "it's over"
