Highly recommend it. It’s a good mecha for those who don’t like mecha cause it has a lot of other shit going on and has arguably the single best MC ever created and the best ending in animanga.

What? That's literally what makes One Piece more enjoyable. Everyone is super emo in Naruto always on some cutting my wrists timing. 90% of villains are no different. I get the Ninja world is harsh but Naruto feels like a show targetted at mid 2000s kids in their emo phase. I'm not sure it would do well if it came out today. Bleach definitely would, it aged better than Naruto as far aesthetics and overall vibe even if the writing in Naruto was better.

Ironically, Obito was a villain who actually did have a legitimate grudge against the world, being a little boy who was crippled, but instead focused his life's work on a creepy crush on some girl he barely knew.

Literally, all Kishimoto had to do was "I hate the world because I was just a kid who shouldn't have been in a war and was horribly mangled" instead of being some creepy weirdo who pined for a girl before his balls even dropped.
