The entire world knew who Xebec was 40 years ago. Anyone who was like 18 at the time of God Valley definitely would have heard about the Rocks Pirates in the news. There’s no good reason why all the citizens that are 50+ would not know who Xebec is. Even if the WG removed his name from every text, all those 50+ year olds would still remember him and talk about him

That's kinda the point of my post. They sent some complete fodder to stop Morgans from spreading the pics of Gear 5 Nika to the world. Something of that magnitude and they send a single fodder with a gun like it's the sopranos or something. Wtf is the world government even doing in the One Piece verse? They just look like idiots 99.9% of the time.

yeah the movies do that "remake but its secretly a sequel" thing and instead of being a pussy shinji goes koji kabuto mode against the first angel and starts the apocalypse early, then it does a 14 year timeskip and things get really weird

The End of Evangelion movie was fantastic, has some of the coolest visuals and direction in the entire medium. Although I didn’t like it as well as the former, the final movie remake brings that same energy.

Pain was such a better final villain for Naruto it’s not even funny

Yeah, Pain’s arc actually had serious writing. His backstory was effective, the powerscaling felt organic, the stakes were real, and everything flowed naturally. The ending fumbled it, but that stretch was still peak Naruto. Honestly, the series should’ve ended with Pain. He is the Akatsuki, and would’ve been a great final boss.

Madara was a cool aura farmer, but that’s it. The entire final stretch was slop, had no real tension and dragging. All those Uchiha and destiny shit ruined the series.
