I don’t think oda is going to have the arm loss nerf shanks imo. Oda usually just treats that shit as flavor and not actually affect their power.

I'm pretty sure it was said somewhere that Shanks gave up from reaching his full potential by sacrificing his arm for Luffy. It having no impact would dilute the impact of the scene.
