He may not know the significance of the fruit himself

The information he has likely comes from the Davy clan. One of their prophecies may say you need 2 specific fruits to oppose Imu (who they clearly know exists) but it may have used the Gum Gum fruits false name

It sounds contrived and stupid but that’s kinda how Oda writes sometimes. I just wouldn’t be surprised if it happened is all I’m saying
The davy clan seems to know about like, Imu and shit, lol. Why would they use the government name for the Nika fruit? Even people like Vegapunk just found old books that has the name of the fruit in it. It´s just absolutely pointless to establish it as a plot point that Rocks doesn´t know about Nika when Loki asks him about it, and that Rocks was also looking for the Nika fruit. Clearly he was after a different fruit(with the Yami pretty much being guranteed, imo)
But did he knew the DF that was its treasure was still very important and powerful? Yes.
Why would we assume this?

And here I thought the "snow" gif was just fire ash, since Loki is on a rampage and Elbaf or Ida's home village is currently on fire, in the current flashback.

Pre the last big panel in chapter 1167. :DeepThink:

I mean, if a nation like Elbaf had a DF that was its treasure, I'd assume it was something noteworthy.

I hate how AI has gotten so good that people now bait leakings like just now recently (the image is actually of quality, & I can't tell is it is AI or not)

Seems to me like we're jumping to Ida/Harald's deaths

We'll probably be in the present by likeeeee 1171 or 1172 if I had to guess

But there is a slight chance that Oda wants to start the new year in the present time so who knows
Then Oda is smart for that, we are DEEP into so many flashbacks and it's smart to just finish out the year with all these flashbacks to a return from flashbacks when its early January of next year. :catrude:
