That said, if Imu is indeed forced to retreat and Elbaf is saved, the possibility he starts to get desperate enough to bring Teach into the fold isn't necessarily impossible then.

I feel that's also where he and Shanks have their showdown about. Imu orders Teach to kill Luffy, and Shanks intercepts him, freeing Luffy to go Laugh Tale.

He finds the One Piece...at the expense of his mentor's life.

I just can't see Imu trusting Teach, or Teach being willing to work with Imu on any level, I think Teach DESPISES Imu.

But, it's possible.

I'm also wondering if Teach desires to literally genocide the Celestial Dragons, which would obviously involve killing Shanks, and, on a grimmer note, Bonney.

The thing is, if Teach really does want revenge, he has a S + level pokerface about it. Like I don't think he's ever shown a true grudge to anyone, he's that utterly amoral. Like even if he knew Ochoko betrayed his dad, I bet he wanted Fullalead more then just revenge.

But that said, if I am indeed right and he is merely waiting for Luffy to soften up Imu so he can stab him in the back, yeah, he probably will enact some level of revenge on the Celestial Dragons. It's not Oda's way to have them utterly exterminated, but enslavement should be some level of sufficient karma.

Wang Zhi tho. That boi stomped Bege's cousin and has battle scars. I don't think he's a fraud esp when his feats and portrayal to top it off are clean. It required BB and Law together to take him down
