General & Others Elbaf training = timeskip training

There have been many threads on how elbaf might be a training arc similar to the 2 year timeskip. The strawhats getting special power ups of their own. Vegapunk being a potential big part in that

I specifically want to talk about haki tho and how it might also mirror how it was done during the timeskip

During the 2 years only Luffy Zoro Sanji trained their haki with only Luffy having conquerors while the rest didn’t train it at all

What if this time the whole crew finally trains their haki

• Most of the crew finally learning the basics of haki to use observation and armament haki
• Luffy Zoro and Sanji learning to use conquerors capable of hurting the god knights
• Luffy learning the voice of all things which would basically be his conquerors equivalent

Honestly I've been saying this for a while. Hopefully they spend a little more time in Elbaf, not just a couple days or weeks. Give time for them to really train and give the world some time. Not just everything happen so quickly one event after another.

Aside from the fact that Hancock isn't joining--ever--there's also the issue of her character. She would be too jealous toward Nami and Robin to teach them anything, too repulsed by Brook's panty jokes, has no respect for coward weaklings like Usopp, and she kicks the kinds of Chopper (remember the puppy?). On top of that, she isn't really a mentor-like figure; she's the stuck-up belle who looks down on you because you can't use haki, and not the gentle motherly figure who helps you out.

she has the personality of a drill seargant, which is perfect to teach it. her bad attitude will offer opportunities for alot of jokes.

We need a timeskip, where Gaban tells Luffy that he wont give his crew the road poneglyph as they are not ready to handle the responsibility of the One Piece. He'll chastise them for depending on the Monster Trio. Usopp and the others will convince Gaban that if he and the others excluding the monster trio stay back on Elbaph to train under him, he'll give them the road poneglyph. Luffy wont agree and will say he wont find the one piece if his friends are not with him. Luffy counters that the crew will all learn haki in 1 month and if they fail Gaban wont give them the road poneglyph to reach Laugh Tale.

Nah. Luffy is already low top tier at the very least. With stronger haki and more control of G5 timelimit, he will soon be PK level or higher.

Zoro with stronger ACOC and better haki control will enter low top tier territory soon.

Sanji will be inbetweener at least post elbaph. Same level as law , Yamato etc with ACOC awakening.

They don't need time skip training.

They barely matter much. Oda will give them powerups also. Like Franky using ancient tech from the robot in elbaph.

The problem with the concept of a timeskip in Elbaf is any time we spend here is multiplied by 3

Which funnily enough might be why Oda does it

If I had to bet there's gonna be some goofy reason for the Strawhats to stay in Elbaf for a decent amount of time (nothing crazy, maybe a few weeks max) so that when we finally leave he can spend like 5-10 chapters going over the crazy things that occurred while the Strawhats were stuck in a country that doesn't have access to the news

Training could be the reason but I doubt it tbh. Not really Oda's style

What do you mean by training? You mean that they are going to stay on Elbaf for a while to train?
It's not happening. We're close to the end of OP. Everything is in motion since their alliance with Law where they broke the wheels according to Law.


There is no stopping now.

Besides why would the other straw hats need haki for? They already defeated a yonko crew. Unless they only fight logias, which they won't, they don't need haki.
