Shanks is/was called the child of destiny by Gaban in a flashback and it has evaded the WG/Gorosei for over 900 years but Shanks "found it", so Nika came to Shanks originally and then found Luffy.

Shanks has intel on Laugh Tale thats certain at this point and its why he has waited to make any moves since hes been waiting for Luffy, Shanks can be compared to Xebec at this point given the info we currently have.

not really Giants confirmed his haki alone is comparable to JBs and look at what just a base burst did to all of the Gorosei and Imu himself was trembling as an after effect of it.

He was yeah, but then Shanks realized it wasnt him when Luffy ate the fruit. Nika didnt come to Shanks he raided CP-9s ship.

Which is why I said the PK thing can atleast be argued.

Yes really, being comparable in haki # Stronger by a lot if power hungry whatever that means. JB had a mastered god fruit as well as his haki.

what brought him to that ship though is the question? all dfs have wills of their own, it was nikas will for shanks to find it.

,then thats where the argument is base shanks can be stronger than JB and he couldve easily surpassed him if he had at the nika fruit when he got it.

It couldve been, but it certainly wasnt Nikas will for Shanks to eat it though. And he likely wouldnt have awakened it even if he ate the fruit.

But hes not, he was said to be comparable to JBs stored haki.
