If it's confirmed that Loki's the one that actually killed Harald then that confirms ACoC can be used to do permanent damage to Holy Knights/Gorosei

The issue is Rocks was unable to perform this feat. I don't really know how Oda could explain Rocks being unable to perform the same feat with ACoC as a teenage Loki

Maybe Loki's special eyes allow him to perceive the soul so he can strike it properly? Or something like that

He simply didnt have the time to finish him off completely. Same for Rayleigh/Gaban v. Sommers too. Chalk it up to plot i guess.

In an isolated 1v1, the CoC users would definitely finish the job if they dont leave it for other priorities (Rocks going on to fight Imu, Ray saving Shakky & Gaban being stopped midway).

Simply put, the immortality powers do not exist against CoC users who can clad their attacks with it.

That’s what I was thinking, we’ve only seen Domi Reversi (bottom class slave contract) take permanent damage. Saturnmu was just toying with them, it could be that their haki were just too weak compared to Imu though.

SaturnMu is the original power.

That does not translate to how the Gorosissies fare against CoC.
I'll bet anything that their fate is closer to the Holy Roppo's fate than the progenitor's.

Have in mind, Roger actually told that their attacks didn´t do much to Xebec because Xebec own CoC was cancel them out.
It make sense since it was Imu himself, his CoC was simply to strong and left no injury on Saturn body because his CoC canceled out all the attacks they took.

So the deal is most likely that the massive combo didn´t done much because Imu CoC cancel the mass power of it in first case.
Back to Garling, he was clearly hurt and damaged, maybe if Xebec gone futher and take time, he would probably kill him.
Because at that right time Imu showed up and might saved Garling life by distract Xebec who took his attention on Imu.

Loki's dialogue after Gaban explained about CoC makes sense now.

He killed Harald even past the immortal nature but didnt understand how he did it.

I guess this proves beyond doubt that any Gorosei/Holy Knight can be killed by an advCoC user.

My headcanon is that the more connected you are to Imu, the more haki is needed to sever the "connection" to the pact and the abilities it gives (like immortality). Gorosei might be bums but it has now been etablished there are different level of pacts.
