News ONE PIECE Manga To End In 3 Years

This is the equivalent to "we'll be fighting Kaido in no time" the moment Caesar reveals that he works under Doflamingo who works for Kaido.
It took 10 years to get that point and worse yet even if you include Shamrock or Akainu to be fought before Imu, Blackbeard still exists. Its not that simple.
Imo, my ideological route is:
- Elbaf: Resolves Shamrock.
- Lodestar: Starts the war for the 4th RP between Yonko and Marines, Luffy meets Shanks, Shanks loses to Blackbeard, Akainu fights Luffy and loses. Catharsis for Ace.
- Laugh Tale: Luffy vs Blackbeard, Void Century reveal. Catharsis for Shanks.
- Mariejoa: Luffy vs Imu, allies vs Gorosei/Serephim, remaining Knights of God, Cipher Pol, etc. Plenty of people that still need trashing. WG is toppled.

Its passing 1400 at this rate. We arent leaving Elbaf before 1200, and Elbaf likely does nothing to resolve Blackbeard, the Marines and WG.
We still have *at least* 2 Islands after Elbaf too, not counting the possibility of returning to Mariejoa. And I assume its 3 left because I doubt Law was going straight to Lodestar from Wano, which means we are probably going to whatever Island Law was meant to head to before Blackbeard jumped him and he was forced to dock at Winner Island.

Honestly i assume Blackbeard's arc just is Laugh Tale at this point. I cant see Luffy just magically earning One Piece and PK status without fighting someone for it.
What I assume is before this (be it Lodestar or whatever else) is the initial war for the 4th RP, not including the WG. That "could" be Blackbeard, but it also could just as likely be Akainu since the Marines now seem poised at stopping the Yonko from claiming One Piece.

The Void Century flashback alone will probably be about an entire arc in terms of length
We’re 17 ish chapters into a flashback about Loki, Rocks, and Harald but people think the Void Century flashback that’s been built up throughout the entire manga that will likely feature tons of relevant characters (Joyboy, Davy Jones, Lili, possibly OG Vander Decken, other D ancestors, 20 Kings, etc) is gonna be short
I will actually agree with you on Elbaf ending sooner than most people think. This isn’t a Wano style arc where we’re stuck here for 4-5 years
We’ll be gone by the end of 2026 at the latest imo. Maybe beginning of 2027

I still think we are ending solidly at around 150 volumes or 1500 chapters. In the grand scheme of things, thats not THAT much content from this point onwards (around 35 volumes, 30ish by the time Elbaf even ends), even if it takes Oda roughly 10 more years to produce it.
For context, we are nearly 35 volumes away from volume 80, which was the end of DR/beginning of Zou. That was roughly 10 years ago and its still hard to think Oda can tidy up everything thats been introduced or needs full closure in that timespan. The final major conflict by itself might be longer than Wano lol, so more than 15 volumes alone, and we seemingly arent even close to that point yet in the story.

The original audience of one piece which would be the 10-17 year olds of 1997 , should be 38-45 Years old today. Viewers who started in the 2010’s era are mostly in their Mid 20s to early 30s. And if you started reading in the 2020’s there’s a 90% chance your in your 20’s. A very small population of One Piece viewers are under 20 years old. Which is probably why Netflix Live Action , Anime Remake, and Animation Increases etc have been implemented in the recent years
I aint even confident in that estimate. Thats 150-200 chapters from this point (of which Elbaf might have another 50 alone), so unless we are expecting a final war that involves everyone (and I mean everyone) before Luffy even hits Laugh Tale, you are basically expecting even that to be shorter than Wano lol.
Trust me, when you see it this way it sticks with you. Im probably the most frequent poster in this thread because Im actually pretty worried of this series either not finishing or being rushed to oblivion

I think that’s cause you expect certain things to be stretched
For example, I don’t really see a world where Elbaf last another 50 chapters
There aren’t nearly enough characters and running plot lines for the arc to last that long
Wano and Dressrosa’s combat portions lasted a long time because there were 7000 characters that we had to check in on
Elbaf has trimmed the fat completely in comparison

Knights of God literally can teleport. I am not confident on any fact on who's here before the flashback and what Imu will do when it ends. For all we know Imu leaves and calls back a group of them (because something something Brook's music = power of friendship and Gunko breaks free from his control, who knows.
If that doesnt convince you, just look at Egghead. Its nearly 80 chapters. Kuma's flashback ended and it took nearly 25 chapters for the group to escape with no ACTUAL fights in that arc lol
WCI had literally 1 fight and it was 80 chapters long another escape arc like Egghead.
Elbaf is neither of those things. The threat needs to be removed and the island saved. That means fights need to be complete like Wano. Of course it wont be Wano length, but we are barely 40 chapters into Elbaf and almost ALWAYS the fight portion of an arc last longer than the initial 1st 3rd or Half.
So again, even if its just ImuGunko, a few Knights and a few DR Giants, it still will take 40+ chapters....trust me. Theres also a lot of unanswered revelations like Heaven Realm and the Harley Text that Oda hasnt gotten around to.
And Im not confident either that this series will end in 7 years either lol, not given whats left.
