Ok
Going back at original comments.
It is about how a supposed stronger Joyboy (prime Luffy) with even more powerful allies and plot advantage would fare against Imu who fking twerk from a sole haki of a supposed weaker version of Joyboy unless Luffy himself has to be weaker individually.
Lets start with this, why do Luffy have to be stronger then JB to fight Imu? He can be equal or relative just like I believe Imu to be. I dont believe Luffy will fight him with allies when push comes to shove bar BB maybe helping.

It is purely based on that canon scene we making some realistic assumption.
I would say its not a realistic one, youre exagerrating what we saw. It can very well be that Imu and JB are relative and JB almost defeated him and thus is a huge threat to him, would explain why Imu reacted the way he did. Feeling the haki of someone who almost defeated him after centuries, it shook him.

I don't know how Oden Kaido has to do on that regard and why I'm indulge on this which made this whole long ass pointless arguments tbh, anyway i gotta go.
You know very well what the Oden vs Kaido argument comes from though lol. Kaido has PTSD from Oden, Imu has PTSD from JB its not that hard to understand. But that doesnt mean the later is much stronger then the former, he can be stronger but for story purposes Id wager he was comparative to him.
The scene just means Imu's stupid hax powers are useless against God Level haki.
It is G5 hax which will be Imus undoing on top of God level Haki.

Joyboy deffo had an army from around the world.
By the sounds of things, Joyboy may have had allies from certain countries like the giants and fishman island, but Imu was the one with the far larger unified force.

Joyboy was the king of a single kingdom if what we learnt at Ohara is to be believed.

I think its far to say that Imu's PTSD around Joyboy is similar to what Kaido had going on with Oden.
