The real issue with Shanks & Gaban knowing what happened.... is that it seems they never tried to clean Loki's name even though he's innocent

Shanks I can understand, if keeping Loki on Elbaf, feared by everyone, is the only way to keep him alive until the time comes for the world to rush IMU.
But Gaban? If he knows that the prince can be reasoned with and had to (help) kill Harald, then he shouldn't ask Luffy if thinks he can control the giant.

Revealing that Harald had to be put down because the WG had found a way to puppeteer him would soil Harald's legacy, driving people to want retaliations against the WG.

On the other hand, saying nothing only leads to giants not knowing how dangerous trusting the WG can be.
