The people influencing the community beliefs here are the ones speaking the most, and they're often pushing memes and agendas. Distorted reality.

It's a small group of people who are obsessive and gatekeeping the community. They've been doing it for so long that they consider their beliefs, which came from things like memes, agendas, and social dynamics, from 10 years ago, facts.

Delusional community. The spreading of false beliefs within a closed system.

The strongest person Rayleigh appears to have ever fought in his career is Kizaru lmfao 🫣
This actually makes Kizaru look bad.
If a guy who never fought anyone strong, comes at you while old and rusty because of alcoholism and retirement, but still manages to hold you off, I don't know if that's a good feat for Kiz. Certainly is for Ray.

And the worst thing is that he stayed there after Kuma saved the SHs and Kizaru didn't do anything to him and instead went after a few fodders to vent his frustration.

Yeah, Kizaru never really looked good in that interaction

Both kaido and Shanks goals would have aligned in helping WB/Ace and so stopping each other doesn't make sense.

Since Shanks is a hero and kaido the villain we can deduce that kaido did not have noble goals for going to marineford (yes one piece is that simple)
Kaido's self proclaimed shtick is that he wants to die an epic death, so I assume if he went to MF he'd have just tried to throw hands with everyone present.

I always interpreted it as somewhat mirroring Shiki and Roger. Shiki tried to storm Marineford and bust Roger out of prison so he could fight him and settle their score, but was ultimately stopped by Sengoku and Garp. Kaido probably went to Marineford to try and settle a score with Whitebeard and see who was stronger between the two before he died to the Marines.

Don't believe him, he's a fraud

:endthis:
1) he was already an emperor, and actively opposed other major factions

2) he was a drunk who attempted to kill himself when he was emotionally unstable sometimes, so he wasn't being rational to begin with, and people had tried to kill him before and it never happened

3) Why would he release an enemy when he planned to take over their country?

This is what I mean by memes and agendas distorting people's perceptions.
