I know you are, and you could be right but im saying personally I dont think that thats one is about Ancient Giants, rather how Devil Fruits were created. Ancient Giants are never referenced as Demons or Devils. outside of Onigashima, which seems far older than Oars.

I have thought, long before Harley was a thing, that Sunlight Tree Eve is/was the DF Progenitor, and IMO thats what this is talking about, given there is a big centralized tree in the mural, written on Treasure Tree Adam, Eve's counterpart. Not each of the Gods have to be human/human-like.

Imo:
- Nika was "human"
- Earth God and Sea Gods (assuming we see their representations on the mural) seem to be monsters or demons. Given the claw marks in the castle Loki's fruit probably is some sort of monster. Imu, if they are the Sea, might just be a literal demon.
- Forest God just might be a literal tree lol.

Worm thing on the right = Earth God
Bird thing on top of the tree = Forest God
Demon on the left = Sea God
Joyboy/Nika = Sun God

The current Gorosei were probably always evil. They were raised like Charloss after all.

But it’s very likely that the original 20 kings were good people who were tricked by Imu.

Dont agree, partially. Read the text and the mural together, it makes it obvious who the Earth God and Serpent are.

The "worm" is likely the Hell Serpent. The "Bird" thing is quite possibly just the Earth God because both it and the serpent are shooting flames and the text talks about how both destroyed the first world together.

Sea God yes, its probably Imu. Imo the Forest God is just Eve, which Oda has been hiding, there is a large, central tree on the mural and it doesnt look at all like Elbaf's Adam tree

The Dragon is often called the Devil in the bible, and Imu is most likely the Devil or an incarnation. Nika is like a jesus/God reference. The earth god enslaving humanity is the Devil imo.
