"Gegege" appears is Laugh of a Non-Canon Character called Bolam, He is obviously not Important at all, but what's Interesting is that He is a Scientist, so it's possible that Oda thinks this Laughter fits a Scientist, hence Ragnir might indeed be a Scientific Weapon,

They were technically referenced when Vegapunk explained how Devil Fruits are born from people's imagination.

Everything I’ve said about Loki is 100% correct, fruitless he is Harald level which puts him at the pinnacle of top tier without a fruit and without Ragnir.

Loki 4 Nakama fails hard because Loki is the first "nakama option" that is just straight up stronger than Luffy, let alone the rest of the Straw Hats.

Tbf Oda just makes people who are stronger than Luffy join later. I.e Jinbe.
But I don't think Loki joins, he'll probably stay to rule Elbaf with Hajrudin until he has to help in the final war.

You're right. But just looking at that panel again after so many years. It really sounds like this man found out everything. I can totally see why people would think that he could even be on par with Dr Vegapunk when reading this. If not even better.

As a physicist he could have found a different approach to analyze and explain the devil fruits. Perhaps even in other fields or taboos of this world.

I remember in SBS 48 Oda told us that a certain Professor would tell us what exactly the devil's fruits are. But he never specified when and where. We certainly learned a lot from Vegapunk but definitely not all of it.

It's crazy to what length Oda goes for Loki.
Harald is like the base model for a Loki character creation menu and then Oda just went and added a handful of op extra abilities.

- massive lightning AoE
- legendary DF
- busted CoO most likely
- Sauron eyes
- child prodigy buff

And now Ragnir seemingly can even levitate/fly like Mjolnir.
There's no end to this. That legendary DF really might end up being legendary powerful.

Imo thanks to the inverse hype around his fruit, Loki sticking out his tongue on multiple occasions, those naturally fitting eyes and his presumed CoO spec I really think it's going to be Jormungandr.
A snake ability hits different on a CoO specialized and agile guy - what seems to be the case with Loki. I'm thinking about Sandersonia here. She was extremely nimble thanks to her fruit and her CoO spec iirc.
Ragnir would then take care of the attack power part.

Anyway the fruit will definitely have either one of these: a great lvl of nimbleness or very powerful durability (Surtur then).
Oda has his patterns.
